The High Line was built in the 1930s, as part of a massive public-private infrastructure project called the West Side Improvement. Waiting still for drinks I got chatting to another woman who told me that if I was after just beer or wine head to the Latina room. What? A Latina room? And I was off. Mim was in the loo, I was hoping to make it back before she noticed I was gone. No line at the bar, just a very slow old mate. ...

... side of Manhattan, and with a couple of wrong turns along the way, took us just shy of 2 hours. This was the equivalent of about 10-15 miles.
Now, I'm not saying that New York drivers are bad, they're just very very angry... they're also very bad drivers.
