But that was all just a distraction to get us off our numb butts for a few minutes. As we drove through the outskirts of Regina, we saw the damage from trees downed by ...

We set off from Calgary after a huge day at the stampede and made our way across the prairie country into the province of Sashatchewan. Connected up with Brenda at the Casino (Living Sky) then down the road to Wymark or so we thought, but 24 kms down a track we find the cabin on the shore of Lac Pelletier. We got a golf cart tour of the surroundings and a wiz over the 9 Hole golf course, very nice, before supper. The weather has ...

... the clematis plant. Denny made us a fantastic supper of baked salmon with hot sauce and Dijon mustard and it was delicious. Overall, I had a lovely leisurely time with Cathie, Denny and Cadee, the dog. Cadee is entertaining as she looks like she is doing yoga when she sleeps. She also likes to lick toes and sleep on the back of chairs. Cadee represents all the emotional reasons why people have dogs - loving and adorable.

I moved slowly Monday so did not get on ...
