Lounging in a hammock Day 13

Lucky 13 I must not have done much... I did not make much of a notation.. other then that I lounged on the beach in the hammock and in the beach chair and then in the tent.

Day 14...........I finally figured out how to best row the boat... I have home made oars... I used stair well hand rails and plywood and second hand rusty carriage bolts...I came to the realization that if I sit on a 5 gallon pail situated just fore the companionway placed ...

Our Adventure Begins!

Our day started at 10:30 a.m. meeting the St. Louis group at the airport. After some bagels and coffee Yvette and I met up with the rest of the group at the gate. It was great to see some familiar faces and to meet some new people too. Our next flight takes us to Chicago O'Hare airport where we will meet up with fellow travelers from Denver, Houston and Omaha.

Don't want to miss the flight!

... was so beautiful, the Captain, gave a talk on the history of the river and how the French named it and how it derived into its name now. It was a very relaxing cruise going for around one and a half hours. The day was so sunny and warm. I, of course, got sunburnt even though I had smothered myself in sunscreen!
