      ... that the slide lockout mechanism was broken. Apparently there is a spring in there because I could hear it being sprung. As it turned out, since the spring was sprung, the mechanism was not working, so I could not extend the slide.       Decided that we will do some work around the refrigerator ourselves. We are going to get some trim to put on each side and then make a "platform" out of the same stuff on which to "set" the front of the refrigerator. That should make it look better.       ... the refrigerator sits, but it's not too bad. We should be able to disguise it. That refrigerator is huge!! It didn't look that big in the store, but in the RV it looks massive.
