We left for our 5 week Western/Alaskan vacation today at 10:49 am and had an uneventful trip to Boonville , MO. We got to our hotel at 7:39 pm. It rained on & off for most of the trip. When we got to I-70 in Missouri the skies cleared and the sun setting in the west became a problem. We'll have to take that into account when we leave in the morning for Oakley, KS. So, it's currently Tuesday night, which means in like three and a half days I will be on my way to Uganda.
So, here's the plan for Saturday:
11:30 - Leave Warrensburg to go to Kansas City
12:30 - Stop and get Gates Barbeque as my last meal in America for awhile
1:30 - Arrive at Kansas City International Airport and check-in (United and Qatar Airways)

Back Home for a little bit
Hi y'all,
I'm back in Warrensburg for a few days before I head out to Tulsa on Thursday. I'm excited to see everyone, but it's going to be really sad because this might be the only time I may seem some of the seniors again in my life. Rough.
But I'm just chilling for the next couple of days.
