The city sign boasted the 'city if murals'. So we drove around and viewed some of them and people waved to you from their front porches. We also stopped to visit an old cemetary.

We ate at Frog City, a one stop shop with cajun food, casino, gift shop and gas. There were 12 women sitting off to the side who come there every Tuesday ...

Walking in the heat of the day and touring the U.S.S. Kidd is hot and tiring. Let's look into the "Exit Now--Interstate Exit Directory" [an inch thick spiral bound book] and find a place within a short distance, stop for an overnight, and just rest. A quiet little RV park--Pioneer Camp RV Park--was just perfect for us; easy on/easy off to Interstate 10, easy pull-thru site so we didn't need to unhook the car, and it was time ...
