... Trail. Then we headed south on Reedy Creek Trail to Cedar Ridge and headed into the woods here to see the ruins of the CCC Headquarters. The CCC were responsible for the labor involved in constructing the roads, dams, trails, shelters, and other facilities in the park during the New Deal era. Finally, we continued on Reedy Creek Trail to one more site. The old Camp Crabtree was just off the trail to the east ...

The flight from Denver to Cary again was bumpy on take off and landing. I was moving from cloud system to cloud system. I didn't get a window seat this time. But was thankful for an aisle seat with no one in the middle seat. I could not see much out the window. I was also falling asleep. I woke myself up mid snore, or just whatever woke me, but I must have got some sleep.
I didn't get to see the Mississippi or other landmarks. I was greatly looking forward to ...
