I came to San Angelo for the first time this weekend to visit my husband who is in school @ Goodfellow AFB for a few months. This is a nice little town. Not too much to do here in town but our little excursions were fun. The caverns were beautiful. So far, its the warmest cave I've been in. It is definitely worth exploring if you're in the area. I got my picture taken in front of Matthew ...

Then we relaxed, had dinner and now I'm writing this and Bob is listening to Modern Family while he plays a game on the iPad. I'm also washing some cloths so I don't have that much to do once we get home tomorrow. So that's it for tonight.

... shutdown. I hope Obama isn't getting paid. Or any of the other elected officials. yeah, good luck with that.

Spent most of today stopping to read historical signs along Route 87. Some very interesting about Cowboy and Indian shoot-em-ups, and rampant death by clever ambushes, and all kinds of mayhem that mankind is apparently wired to undertake. Also there was stuff about how some of these towns got named, like Fredricksburg - some German ...

... all over, i tried my best to keep straight and i think i did really well considering,

I'd like to go and get my asthma spray but the weather doesn't permit so I am just sitting quietly for a little while until it passes, the snow, wind and hail that is.

The rain is pretty much horizontal. There is snow all over the ground, something we really didn't expect to see. We pulled in to a truck stop on the way as we needed petrol, we ...
