... and very friendly around here. Club activities, a gym, golf course, tennis, baseball, walking trails galore. Very pretty and well maintained. I am super happy for my Dad and Jan as they are in a beautiful house with a nice yard and are so comfortable here.

Today is a quiet day and then get ready for our 6:00a flight to Maui. Chat at you next once we arrive. Aloha baby!

... happy to experience someplace new.

For those that know me well, you will be surprised that we are sitting at about one month out from our trip and I am completely unorganized. We have just one hotel in Portugal booked and not much else for that portion of our trip. This might turn out to be spontaneous fun or an absolute disaster given that we are visiting in high tourist season!

... This place is full of bars, restaurants, shops and fancy Victorian houses, many which have been converted into office space. We found a neat recycled clothing store that must only receive donations from wealthy hipsters or hipster stores, because everything was new and trendy looking.

Found the museum eventually, paid our entry and learnt bits and pieces about Native Americna culture. I was hoping it would be more of a traditional history type ...

Strangely Sacramento although the Capitol, provided the perfect peace and quite after a busy Memorial Day weekend.
