    ... and the club sandwich I had was big enough for Bob and I to have two meals each!!

    ... potatoes, roasted peppers and great bread. Followed with miniature pastries. An evening of great conversation, laughter and wonderful company. Her daughters are so beautiful, warm, and fun to be with, we are delighted that Martina will be coming to New York and hope she spends time with us. A perfect ending, a wonderful Italian family , our friends, how lucky are we. New York here we come........

    ... of the store advertising corn for $0.25! Random Much? After helping some random lady pick out a pair of high heels for her 5.6ft daughter for her year 5 graduation! High heels for year 5...for starters how odd to have a graduation for year 5, second of all, why have high heels on when you are about 10years old! what ever happened to being a normal 10year old girl wearing sandals...weird!     The taxi picked us up at the fairly civilised hour of 11 am and we were soon at Gatwick, through all the formalities and enjoying a pre-flight drink and snack in the BA lounge. Oh the joys of silver membership!

    The flight was on time and completely full. We suspect that there were quite a number of other rugby supporters amongst those on board! As we arrived in Rome the sun was setting over the sea, a beautiful, peaceful sight. ...
