For our oldest son's birthday we decided to go RVing! Surprise!! We based our decision on where to go on where we could find the least expensive Brazilian Steakhouse. :) We ended up in the Bluffton, IN KOA. Our (mis)adventure started out in the usual fashion. On a hunt for Organic Coconut Oil for Boss Lady Reesey and Princess Spoiled Fancy-Pants, they absolutely cannot eat w/o it drizzled on their food! No way!! Once that ...

Today we embark on a new journey stretching over 5200 miles and 20 states in 16 days/15 nights. We've prepared for this moment: endless online research, highlighting maps (we won't be using a GPS.. yes by choice!), creating playlists and cd's, contacting friends to meet up with along the way, finding a puppy sitter for Charles (thanks again, Mamie & Papaw!), reserving hotels (all free thanks to Kyle's Choice Hotel points!), looking up weather at all of our ...

So we decided last night that we were going to visit different state parks in the states that we go to (plus we have a lot of spare time) So we went to Mounds State park here in Indiana, and we did a little hiking along the trails, Mounds State Park has some of the oldest earthwork and mounds dating back about 160 BC by the Adena indians (not much known about them). It is said ...

A travel blog entry by larryg59 on Sep 30, 2013

We made it past our Toledo show, everything turned out pretty good....had some great help (employee's).....when we closed up, tearing everything down went really well, everybody helped, packing the trailer, worked pretty good. Sunday, when we did our paperwork, it only took us a few hours this time (not all day like last time) learned a lot of lessons from last time. We also made ...

... in our lawn chairs and having cocktails together. Funny how we just keep meeting great people. We had the opportunity to take a tour of the factory where the coaches are actually made (actually Walt took the tour, I listened on the headset because I did not have on closed shoes and they wouldn't allow me in the factory - who knew)! Decatur has a population of 9,000+ people and not a whole lot to do except they have ...
