Through Clovis

A travel blog entry by k.c77 on Nov 13, 2014

As I made my way through Clovis I stopped at a rest station to stretch and get a bite to eat. They had a really cool restaurant called Thai City and I ate the Golden Dragon for $10.95. After that I got gas at a Chevron for $41.66.

The ride, however to Taos was nothing short of spectacular. The landscapes were like paintings. We traveled through sage brush fields and majestic mountains. We miss so much of this beautiful country when we travel by plane.

Left Big Spring, Tx at 8:15am, headed towards Santa Fe. Beautiful day, great temperature, 75 degrees. Put on our gear. See picture. Saw some beautiful cotton-growing farmland. Stopped to take pictures of a beautiful home and talk to the owners. Ducati is doing well with 1800 total miles on the eighth day of our ...
