I spend 3 hours there and got things caught up chatted with Shirley and Ms. Harris and a gentlemen that over heard my story and wanted to know more.....Then I got back to the campground and cleaned my bike, took a nap and then Thomas ...

He works at the coal mines just 5 minutes from the park and has 6 kids lives in Haysi about 30 minutes away but they like to camp in the summer and stay at the site as he travels to and from work. The coal mines are closing all over the areas due mostly to the high regulations that the government has put on them……This area also is high poverty ...
... We had a lot of fun those short few days (well at least I did!). Hopefully her and I will keep in touch in the future and have a good relationship. As long as her accent doesn't get any thicker! ;) again a joke!
