Finally a home for a few nights

We stopped in Oklahoma for the weekend to spend time with Jenny and Camron (Tj's sis and bro-in-law) ...Zoe is so happy to be in a home around people who love her and not just a hotel! Camron is helping her play the piano and I think that is her new favorite hobby! We went to see a movie (Tommorowland was amazing)

Of course, locals had already gone during the night and found the prime lands and claimed them for themselves. They were ...

    Interesting Wild West!

A travel blog entry by irv2 on Aug 28, 2014

We visited the town of Guthrie this morning. They have designated the whole area as historical district, so being downtown was like being in an area during the turn of the century. All of the buildings had been restored, and the architecture was very interesting. We went through the Oklahoma Territorial Museum which told the history of the relocation of the ...

    Oklahoma is O.K.!

A travel blog entry by irv2 on Aug 27, 2014

We started out this morning from McAlester, Ok, made the trip up to Emporia, Kansas, and arrived this evening at Guthrie, O.K., not too far from where we started.

Come back tomorrow night ( if I have internet connection) and I'll tell you where we went and what we did.
