This morning I got up at about six. I noticed immediately that my left foot was sore. Kind of a bruised feeling. I decided to 'walk it off" and began a walk through the park in the early cool air. I didn't get very far and it seemed to worsen...no, it did actually feel worse. So, remembering my running days, I got out the ice and iced her down. Not much help, but it did kill the pain a bit.

It's very quiet here in the Park, except for the traffic noise on I-17. Not many folks moving about today, perhaps due to the heat or such. I'm looking forward to moving out into the desert again on Monday. ...
