      Date night

It was double date night - Krista's brother wanted to go to a French restaurant so he could get Foie Gras (which is illegal in california). So, it was off to a French restaurant. Not exactly what I wanted, especially since I was about to spend 2 weeks in France.
Would have rather stayed home and eat the pizza that was ordered.

We got on our plane in Houston, got settled into our nice comfy pods, got to know our very nice flight attendant and waited. Mechanical, not good. After about an hour, the captain told us that we would not be going ...

      - My friends were kind enough to go with me to the Houston Dynamo soccer game today at their home field, BBVA Compass Stadium.
      - Before the game we did our pregame routine and got gas and food before at the local Texaco
      - Gas was $36.79, food and water was $11.04, and ice was $7.00
      - We sold our custom snapback hats once again an hour ...

Back in Houston, we checked out their underground tunnels but nothing can hold a light to Singapore's underworld! Then we drove out to the Menil Collection which was interesting. Talk about eclectic.

On their property they have two chapels: The Rothko and The Byzantine Fresco. We knew nothing about these places before stepping foot in them. The Byzantine Fresco chapel looks unimpressive from the exterior. Then you walk in this ultra modern, simple ...

... than we did! And their beds were all lined with sheepy-wool stuff. Nice! I was tired and strangely jealous. Luckily, the groomer arrived with Capone before I climbed into bed with a German Shepherd.

Man! Plush beds, roomy rooms, daily treats, 8 hours of doggie playtime a day, food, toys, and a salon! Next time we're in London, I'm not trusting online hotel information. I'm booking us into a dog boarder. I'll be the one answering to Fluffy.
