Day 16- Home again
We had a nice visit with the kids; tea on the patio in the morning, and then they cooked us breakfast in their new home. We visited some cute nearby shops and topped off our visit with a trip to "Cold Stone Creamery" for ice cream. Day 1-Packed up and ready to go!
... own snacks for the car and for hiking-good Vermont Cabot cheese, crackers, veggies and dip, bags of trail mixes, etc. Hopefully bringing our own drinks and snacks will save us both time and money!

The Deep Creek Adventure
... to "fall off" so we did right before our turn was over. mwahaha.
We also went on various hikes and swam in various parts of the lake. I even attempted paddleboarding at a beach. Of course, one of my favorite places to swim was in the hot tub at the lake house. haha.
I was sad to leave, but we got to bring my cousin Ivy home with us for two weeks. :)

Our lodging tonight is a guest house (no breakfast in the am). Large rooms and totally remodeled several years ago. Solarium, library, big front porch...our lodgings have gotten better each day! After the air matress last ight, I am looking forward to a big queen bed!
