Falling as defined by Google: "to move downward, typically rapidly and freely without control, from a higher to a lower level." I'm pretty sure after today, next to the definition, you will find a picture of me skiing a blue slope.

Lindsay and I were on KP duty this morning...and we ended up in charge of making biscuits and gravy for breakfast (a rather terrifying task when you have several southerners in the group). Pioneer woman and Linda saved the day and ...

    1. Libby and Steven saved my life by teaching me to "ski" in the living room over Christmas. Seriously, you two, I was the only newbie to be able to turn after a few runs down the bunny slope. And as we all know my affinity for falling, I needed all the help I could get.

... car (some great steaks!) and met some nice people too. I didn't catch their names but one lady had travelled all over Europe and had lots of interesting stories. And the guy we sat with for dinner had lived in San Francisco most of his life, and was travelling to Detroit to see an opera! He was also a big train lover (I imagine he would have gotten on well with Nick!) We are now going to try and settle in for the night. Eye masks and ear plug time - wish us luck! ...

... side! After a breakfast that included duck and venison we headed off for the day. We drove for just over an hour across a high plateau, before descending into the Ohiopyle State Park and Fallingwater. I didn't go there with any preconceptions but it was a very interesting tour and an amazing place. Ironically, rain started to fall as we finished and we drove to another nearby house he designed called Kentuck Knob. He did so sight unseen, on a smaller budget and late in his life ...
