I was freezing today. It was about 45 degrees out all day and cloudy. It was like the first day all over again minus the rain. The hills were never ending and no matter what clothes I put on I would still get cold when I went down hill. Abut 40 miles into my day I rode through a town called Mt. ... It turned out well, but on one of the screamin' downhills Chris had a major bolt on her shifter work itself out and where it fell we had no idea. I backtracked for quite a distance, but it was worse than a needle in a haystack. At least the haystack is in a fixed location. Could it be that the West Virginia mascot or the State nickname wasn't enough to figure this out? Wow, did we ever do some climbing today. We began the morning lookig out the tent entrance to the misty-fog that is West Virginia. the Allegheny Highlands Trail awaited us. Even better, a coasting downhill section awaited us.
