We then headed generally westbound down the highways of Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas to this place in North Little Rock. We passed through some rundown areas of Memphis without pausing. Given the ridiculous road construction delays later on Interstate 40, it was good that we did not dawdle along the way.
