Packed our stuff and it was off again. This time to Montgomery. Stopped at Race Trac convenience store. Like our QT. Angie bought 2 large cans of boiled Cajun Peanuts to bring home.

Started getting some rain going north on I-75 around Gainesville. Went north into Alabama on state route 231. Went through Dotham, Ozark, and Troy. Very beautiful country.

Got into Montgomery about 7 p.m. It was cold and windy.

Today we stopped in Alabama. We refilled gas for $45.51. It was a quick stop and now we're headed towards Tallahassee.

His son, Hank Williams Jr, and grandson, "Hank III", are still carrying on the family tradition...yet in their own unique style!

the street for the state legislature to meet in. The other state where I’ve
encountered similar larger but less stately new digs for a state legislature is
Nevada. In both cases during my visit the legislature was not in session and
the new state house closed to visitors, so I’m not sure if seeing the old state
capitol building really counts as being to the state’s capitol. Anyway, the old
