Despite electrical fire, phone & internet problems and rough highways....wow....what a treat to see dear friend, Laura, and her John, in Regina. Lots of catching up, finding the best Saskatoon Berry tea...and hearing/seeing Laura's work at Open Door where English is taught to about 500 immigrants. Saskatchewan does not have an adequate work force, so ...

... We are just sitting outside by a river, enjoying a glass of wine and watching other campers, catching up on email and listening to the birds and the wind. We have stayed here before and know that there will be a train to two tonight, but now have ear plus after last night's noise...after all, Walmart was right there when we opened the door this morning and it was open when it was time for us to hit the road. I've been trying to update the Foursquare App as we go, to keep those that ...

... Vivianne had kindly directed my to the Washburn Public Library (with WiFi access) the day before. She and her husband just wanted to make sure that I was all right - indeed, I was more than all right enjoying a glass of claret. She informed me that she had alerted the editor of the regional weekly that an interesting character from Denmark was camping down by the River. And ...
