Just arrived at Midway. We are going to get our rental car from Avis and drive to the hotel. We are pretty tired already.

Dan got a lovely frisk on the way through security, she loved it! So all in all we didn't see a whole lot of Chicago really, it seemed like a lovely place though and maybe a "richer" part of America(?) Just an observation. Although it must be true seeing as the current president is from there... On to San ...
On the road again tomorrow - flying to Denver (not Aspen - seems to be a change of plan) at midday and then who knows what will happen after that - or when I will actually do any work? I finally got my own copy of the itinerary today but we seem to be off track as it says Aspen for the next 3 days so who knows where we'll end up?

Chicago is such a pretty city! The architecture was amazing and there was so much to do and see.
The first night we went to a comedy show at Second City in Old Town. This comedy group was the training place for a ton of comedians, including Tina Fey, Steve Carrell, Belushi Brothers, Chris Farley, Steve Martin, John Candy...and the list goes on! The show was so funny and was a great way to start our time in Chicago.
