    ... spot. We then became "the people" wandering the very happy, trendy, party town. We walked along the ocean and popped in for a drink. Unfortunately it was gingerale only.

    Stopped in Hyannis on our way back to poke in the shops and stop in a local restaurant for Clam Chowder. Yes, Chris is still on a clear fluid diet but he says the soup is fluid and with gingerale only he is seeing clear. I'm not sure this is what the doctor had in mind.

    And also Germans make really delicious beer. Mmmm beer.....

The 3rd floor was taken up entirely by the in-patient gym, with floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the harbour. There were outdoor gardens designed to challenge and motivate patients as well as a hydrotherapy pool that was also open to the local community in the evenings. All the staff had such positive attitudes and worked great as a team. ...

    Struggled with the three hour time difference this morning plus the fact this is the noisiest place we have stayed so far. Breakfast was in a canteen downstairs and was very busy. We left the hostel at half ten and set out towards the park. This was beautiful full of flower displays and a lake, as well as lots of squirrels.
