Long day of driving through Nebraska and Kansas....lots of farm land and grazing cows! I was wondering today if Nebraska is the state they call The Bread Basket of our country? We drove mostly on back roads with a little Interstate here and there. Wow....sure do appreciate my car's get up and go when I floor it to pass on these back roads! Funny how Gavin would always look over to see what my speed odometer was registering.....can get to 90 without much punch and doesn't ...

One said Walmart is open 24 hours as her reason but I dont think she had ever ...

It happened on a narrow park road and the truck was long and loaded with gravel. The truck and another car passed, just as I went around a fallen log. Three into two don't go and I ended up right beside the truck, just in front of the trailer rear wheels. I don't know how ...

Gavin and I began our travels on June 21st, with our first stop in Keller, TX to visit my dear friend, Diane Harter. Just an overnight stop, but we were able to get quite a bit of conversation in, in one night! Drove 7 hours today and we are stopped in Salina, KS at a very comfortable Marriott Courtyard. We listened to an audio book, No Hero, The Evolution of a Navy Seal by Mark Owen. It is an account of Mark's 13 years as a Navy Seal. He was on the mission ...
