... the navigation system in our spiffy Volvo, we eventually found it. I must say our venture through Highway 152 had some wonderful views. By the time we actually made it to Highway 1 it was well past dark. We bunked down in Marina, CA.

We found a little Italian restaurant called Dishes Bistro and Grill. Yummy. After eating we bunked down for the night and called it a ...

Fred was working on the computer, so Carol took Lilly to Aikido and then we picked up Fred and all went back to Carmel - another fun day.

Friday, May 1: Today we picked up our car - all fixed! Good to have it back. Carol made Lilly's Pirate costume scarf and belt so she will be all set for next week. That afternoon, Carol ...

We then travelled the distance back to our hotel, we were done. The experience of Yosemite National Park was one we will cherish forever. We loved every moment we spent in this amazing area, we have promised that we will go back and stay in this majestic ...

        ... sun fish.

The tentacle exhibition was great with nautilus, squid and octopus. The deep sea cock eyed red squid was amazing to see.

The jellies exhibition was surreal with the lit up tanks in the dark rooms.

Took a short walk along Lovers Point. A pleasant beach outlook. We saw a few Sea Otters diving close to the shore.

Stayed the night at Marina - on the sand dunes.

Tuesday morning after our beach time, I told the kids to grab their tennis shoes because they need them for hiking around San Francisco on Wednesday. Hunter only has 1 shoe! Somehow, he has managed to lose a shoe out of the van. As a result, Hunter had to purchase himself new shoes ...
