    ... find one of my parents " gone to the dump". Well I got to experience this first hand and met Bob- the dump guy in person. He explain where he lived and I realized we had past it on the way to the dump. He collects antlers and puts them on the fence posts around his house....you can't NOT notice them. The dump is just a large building that has a basement sort of area. You deposit your recycling and trash in the upper level and later a big truck backs into the basement ...

    ... in words though. I would say that the greatest lesson I have learned through all of this is to live from the heart. It is a powerful principle that I think of any time that I get overwhelmed, discouraged, lonely, or upset. I simply live from the heart, it is okay if I don't understand everything that is going on around me, it is okay if there are many things that don't make sense. Instead of living from my head or from my understanding, I have to live from my heart.

    ... very nice to have your own vehicle once you are there. Punta Gorda is not a very popular tourist destination (yet), which seems like the reason that people that do go there as tourists, like it. Very rustic and authentic which will be interesting to see/experience!

    We are staying at a hotel that is owned by a Canadian couple. By their emails they sound very nice and we are really looking forward to ...

    This visit was always planned to retrace some of the areas my late dad (Ted) talked about while training in Canada prior to serving in 214 squadron (Fortresses) in Bomber Command in the UK.
