... It has been 7 years since I walked the vibrant streets of Nova Scotia's capital city. It has been 9 months since I have seen my daughter (we text and chat on the phone and occasionally FaceTime, but not the same as in-person!).

... the odd lake, huge farm machinery and breaks in terrain with river beds, oil pumps and even a large gas flare. The GPS took us on more minor roads, but straight and no gravel so it was relaxing driving for John as we hardly saw another car.
