    The way to Klamath Falls was surrounded by long tracts of land littered with cows and lovely grass.

    ... sides were awesome. We both agreed hands down the best meal of our trip so far. We will be sure to look up a recipe for cheesy corn when we get home. It was super tasty. The seasoned beer batter fries were so good. It was hard to leave any behind but it had to be done... we tried our best!

    We rolled out the door about 9.30 very satisfied.

    Tomorrow we venture to the main reason for our journey through Oregon - Crater Lake! ...

    ... Falls short of excitement on Friday night'. Though the motel was comfy we struggled to find much to do. The curry house closed at 7 but we found a good pizza place. Derek the waiter was chatty and efficient and revealed he was born in Widnes. We wandered down the Main Street past closed shops and quiet bars and restaurants, down to the river. An early night.     ... a set of long drooping feathers on their tail, which looks very much like a "bustle". Their legs are long and black and they have long black toes with sharp claws on the ends. The juvenile crane has a crown of feathers on its forehead and is a grey-brown cinnamon color all over Male and female Sandhill Cranes look very similar. One way of telling them apart is to watch them dancing together in pairs
