San Antonio part 2: Today I wandered off the key tourist spots, but still along San Antonio's Riverwalk.
On the way to a Mexican hot spot, I stopped at the Spanish Governor's Palace built in the Adobe style of architecture. Then, I found a charity second hand shop. In case, I run out of proper clothes, there I find everything I need for about 3.99 USD a piece. Lunch has happend at a Mexican restaurant (see separate entry on food).
After that I walked ...
For breakfast at the motel I could select from donuts, muffins, waffels, and
bananas. Of course, no low carb options! However, the waffels were good as you
could make them yourself (see photo).
Now for lunch and dinner you can choose between Mexican or Texas BBQ. Mexican
basically means tacos or enchiladas, both always served with rice and black
beans. BBQ options are steak or ribs.
And inbetween? ...

Again we had breakfast down stairs and tried working some money issues out with the NAB again but still not having much luck. We caught the public bus back to La Cantera shops to get a few last things, on the way back stopped at our Last Nordstrom rack for a look at the Rim shopping centre. ... in the morning. At 11.25 am we stopped for an early lunch at Columbus Texas, Walmart. Andrew is very manky with his cold so we went and saw the pharmacist in Walmart. He gave Andrew some cough suppressant for non mucus and we grabbed the one with mucus just in case! We also grabbed all of our bulk drugs, Aleve day and night, Neosporin antibiotic cream with pain reliever, analgesic spray for my neck and some cold and flu bulk pack for Andrew.
