... br> We picked up our train tickets and some of our hotel reservations last week as well. This week we are hoping to finalize places we want to see so we can purchase tickets ahead of time....recommended for some of the busier places we want to see in Italy. Truthfully though, knowing how we have traveled in the past, somethings we might not decide to do until we're there and that's okay with us.

So until next week.....enjoy the pictures!

Thank you also to my parents, my brother and my nephew Frankie for coming as well. It was a celebratory lunch at our house before Kirk headed back for one last meeting and MHYC event.

    So the journey begins.....

... anyone could have come up and said they last name was Cawood and the airlines would have been satisfied enough to give them the bags. I was too tired and hungry to care.

Mads was there to pick me up and it was awesome to see her after 2 months. We had to quickly load up her jeep as there was decent traffic at the airport pickup. I was so tired I probably sounded drunk as we talked. We decided to stop at Applebees and eat good in the neighborhood. I had a steak ...
