      ... in the deep, unplowed snow! Much to our amazement, we only encountered one vehicle coming towards us, near the entrance to our subdivision. They backed out to Berry Rd, allowed us through and we were officially on the road, no longer snowbound, but rather southbound! This is our first trip with the cat, Checkers.       a few other first aid items
      kleenex to use as TP when not available
      travel size bathroom items (everything in 3 ounce size or smaller and only 2 zip lock bags worth)
      laundry soap
      yarn to knit another pair of socks
      and of course a couple of cameras.

      ... after lunch. Lunch was at a local staple: Brown's Hot Dogs...it's being run by the second generation and they boasted the best coney dogs in the area, so, of course, we had to try them! They did NOT disappoint. :) Ed, the owner, fed us on the house, which was completely unexpected and very much appreciated. I highly recommend trying them out when you're in the area...
