A very early start to the day. A 6am pick up from the hotel for a limo ride to the airport to get on a helicopter to the Grand Canyon! Flew over lake mead and hoover dam and then stopped for a champagne breakfast at the bottom of the canyon, then back to the hotel all before 9:30! Then it was some walking to see all the big casinos along the strip! Hot when outside!! Now for some drinks and relaxation before we head from New York New York hotel to New York New York ...
... t let it go. Even the Americans were embarrassed and we left her quickly. still harassing the guide.
Back at 2pm so we hit the pool; did some domestic chores and enjoyed the sun. It was really hot and anything damp dried off in minutes.
Being in Vegas, we met up with Karl, Vicki, Julie and Sonia at Hooters for a drink. The meals are so huge so we shared an entrée to sustain us before dinner. ...
... things about today (by Kristi):
1. Saw the temperature reach 115 degrees on car ride
2. Got to see our main hotel La Quinta Inn in Springdale, and everyone was happy with it
3. Showed kids their first National Park
4. Ate at the Spotted Dog Café in Springdale, AZ (nice décor, fabulous views of Zion, delicious food)
5. Saw the Weeping Rock in Zion with the kids (they LOVED their first hike in a National Park)

... this for the bargain price of $738! We wuz wobbed! However the day was saved when we got back to our hotel and realised that we still had time for our daily complimentary buffet brunch which was magnificent. Had a little nana nap in our king sized bed before heading out again for the evening festivities. We just wandered around a few of the casinos close by and eventually had dinner at The Bellagio at midnight!! We are crazy like ...
... We then met up with my godfather Ush for some drinks at Caesars palace before meeting up with his brother in laws he was traveling with to check out Gordon Ramsays restaurant. The food was amazing, both mitch and I got the steak and it was so nice to have something that wasn't fast food... Very impressed with this place! Day three was spent with a late breakfast which for mitch included an omelette with bacon and fries inside which was also served with a side of fries... ...
