... not appear to be anything new in Hollywood.

The two rip-off movies that we saw were better than expected, which is saying something at drive-in movies (you don't go for the art). ... had an on line meeting with Brothers Nick and Dan in Santa Barbara. We usually do this every other week, but I have missed a few while traveling. After the meeting we fired up the BBQ and enjoyed some local corn.

On Sunday, the trip was to Cowpens National Battlefield and a personal tour. Yes, once again, we were the only ones on the tour. Our guide was Ranger Correll ...

... the Walnut Grove Plantation. This is the Colonial and Revolutionary era home of the Moore family. It's been restored and the grounds are pristine. We were the only ones on the 11 am tour and what a tour it was. Our guide is a serious student of the local history, US history and world history. When we arrived he was reading a history book. We were treated to a full hour of local lore, battle ...
