        Sunday morning, I woke up, had breakfast, and checked out of the hotel. It was a long drive home and I wanted to get in a good hike before I left.         ... you could have fit even the smallest item in that trunk the way he had it packed. Each stop we would rearrange the mass of dirty laundry, toiletries, etc. until by the last stop we were down to one small carry-on with toiletries and one clean outfit for each of us.
