    ... as we crossed into Maryland. We finally had a Cracker Barrell experience today at lunch. I had crusty grilled trout with lemon, sweet potatoes, crunchy broccoli and moist flaky buttermilk tea biscuits slathered with lots of butter. Yummy!     ... and then hiked another 1.5 miles to a quiet camping spot :) Laying here, trying to fall asleep, I have been thinking about my south bound trip, and about how my weight is going down.....while I have been eating to the point of overeating.....the weight is still dropping!     Woken by alarm. However, I had alarm set for 8.30 instead of 7.30 and Gab already gone for the van before we woke. I had reheated pasta and cold pizza from last night for breakfast. Left about 10 to go to Palmerton Pennsylvania to see our friend Steve Obremski. GPS 'Judy Garmon' took us on lots of back roads as well as highways. It was pretty and interesting - some poorer neighborhoods as well.

    ... It was a long downhill into town, and it dropped us out by the train tracks. As we walked to the center of town, I remembered the hotel their from last time, not a very nice one, and the food was not good at all. So we decided to keep going into Hamburg, a little bit pricier. ...but MUCH nicer, and all the stores were close by. After walking down 61 to the Walmart and resuppied......we headed to the hotel.
