    Very Gopd Road Trip Hotel

As Mary says there are positives and negatives to everything. We have stayed at enough Holiday Inns on this trip that we have achieved Gold status. Today we were upgraded to a King Suite for the night. The negative, it was next to the ice machine. All in all this is a nice road trip hotel that I would stay in again. It kind of compensates for spending the night in Evanston WY.

... We asked for both blue cheese & ranch dressing. We got 2 different dips, but could not determine which was which. The beer tasted like it was brewed from a kit. The chips & salsa were decent at least. The afternoon consisted of laundry & a soak in the hot tub. If only we could sit in a hot tub while doing laundry at home! Dinner was at the #1 rated restaurant on ...

We realized yesterday that after 10 nights in a tent on an air mattress (and 2 nights on a dorm mattress before that), that we were more than ready for a hotel! We decided to leave Grand Teton a day early from our original plan and head south towards Colorado. We got up early for Grant to take some sunrise pictures of the mountains, then broke camp and went to Fossil Butte National Monument. Fossil Butte has some of the world's best ...

... It's a working base with revelry at 7:30 am and taps at 5:30 pm. I've included some pictures of planes practicing take offs and landings.

Another picture maps the area around Rapid City and Mt. Rushmore. I included the information about low tunnels along several of the local highways. My MH height is about 11 foot 6 inches.

On June 25, I noticed that my slide out looked off center. I took it to a local RV repair place and they ...

Arrived Evanston mid afternoon. Set up our motorhome in the campground, did the washing and then had a very nice Mexican meal for dinner.

... good stories. Although I am pretty sure if you have a blog it has to have a clever title so any help in that department would be appreciated.

Sight of the Day: Stretches of dark, unpopulated Wyoming Interstate Highways. I am not looking forward to the traffic in my future.

Quote of the Day: Overheard in a Laramie gas station, "And that is why I am not weird because I haven't slept with my cousin."
