Hello Friends and Family! The adventure has finally begun!!!
After getting extrememly emotional on Saturday night about leaving all the familiar behind to begin this journey, I am feeling terrific today. Thank you Nicky Love for your support and emotional mentoring during this time. I am so grateful I got to spend my last week in Portland with you.

Thursday 16 October - Sacramento We drove from the barren hills of Nevada into the green(er) valleys of California - it was quite a dramatic change of scenery. Sacramento is the capital of California & has, just like Washington & all the other state capitals, a white domed Capitol building modeled on St Paul's in London (Christopher Wren should have claimed royalties). The Historic waterfront of Old Sacramento ...
