      So excited to visit Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Hong Kong ... especially for the food! Even though Cathay Pacific changed us from a flight out of Newark to one out of JFK, we still couldn't wait to get on the plane -- 2 hours to JFK, 16 to Hong Kong, 3+ hr layover, then 4 more to Singapore.       ... tourist visa and ended up with a single entry three month visa. Oops, all is well. Plane ticket was 755USD, could be worse.  I've booked the bus ticket and found out about the metro system in Delhi. I am as much prepared for this journey as I can be.       ... there are many kinds of poop to scoop. There is the fresh, soft kind, the firm (easy to scoop) kind that must be a week old, the kind with flies buzzing around (depends on what the dog ate, I guess), and the kind that was run over by the guys with the enormous riding mower who cut our lawn. I leave those alone. Maybe after a while, they'll just look like clumps of dirt.
