... Let me tell you what, some of those tractor trailers fly! I was nervous a couple of times pulling our ensemble through narrow lanes in areas of road repair but we made it. Another 100 miles or so for me...yay.
For the rest of the way home, I dozed, I played sudoku, I read. It was boring but then I've made this trip so many times. Even so, once we drove through ...
We are making our way over to Niagara Falls and stopped off in Verona, NY. The campground is connected with the very nice casino, Turning Point. The casino is owned by the Oneida Indian Nation and has a cool "Tree of Life" made of 5725 lbs of glass and stands 14ft high. I did gamble at little bit and won enough to pay for one buffet dinner. Docked at Cold Springs Harbor Marina for the next several days since it is near Kevin's daughter, Allie's, house. Had dinner on the boat with Allie and her boys. Hoping we can see the fireworks from ...
... recognizes tolls!
We ate sandwiches for lunch and dinner out of the back of the baby house. Bud did splurge
and get a post-dinner $8 McDonald’s #4. I got a 0.49 baby ice cream cone. All said and done, we made it 800 miles, spent $47.25 in tolls and $330.49 in petrol. We finally stopped, after 800 miles, at a very nice rest stop in Wisconsin around 11 p.m. (EDT) for the night.
