... in the depths of Uniteds luggage pit. Much later that day, we are informed there has been succes and the luggage has been retrieved! Only to be informed the plane will now have to be reweighed for balance after losing a sixty pound gal and what must be her massive amounts of luggage....bloody hell why don't you repaint the feckin airplane while your at it! A full two hours later with a lovely sunset in the works we once again hear the request to buckle up ...

Yesterday, I tried to fix my stay at a guest ranch in the Texas Hill Country. However, the ranch of my choice is closed for a week due to a family wedding. I have checked for alternatives, but I either do not like the ranch or it is way too expensive. Therefore, I will jump on a horse in New Mexico or Arizona. Naturewise I will like those states better anyways.
So, this forenoon I will hop in a bus to San Antonio. Jan 29th in the evening, I will fly to El Paso.

Our first day in Copenhagen was fairly uneventful. We were pretty tired after arriving on an overnight train from Amsterdam. But, we strapped on our packs and made our way on foot to the hotel. Hugo is getting stronger - it was about a two mile walk (maybe 1.5) and he did well. We has to wait for our room and so we went wandering. We happened upon what looked to be a group of guards from the palace marching ...

... Owner) mentioned was in Huntsville, besides the prison! A gigantic statue of Sam Houston, I estimated it was 50 feet high and illuminated...it was right along I-45 just outside of Huntsville. I thought I'd maybe investigate further tomorrow. This was a great day! Great food, great tour of a bbq joint and great ballpark and easy drive home. Home tomorrow. I'll upload pictures of my trip then! (Sorry this is so long, but it's been a great trip and I wanted to tell you all about it!) ...
