I followed the river 80 miles east and am camping at Old Post Road Army Corps campground just below the Dardanelle lock and dam.     In two days, I will be starting what will almost certainly amount to the most challenging journey of my life so far, physically, mentally and logistically. I will be flying to Atlanta this Tuesday morning and starting my thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail the next day. The Appalachian Trail runs for almost 2,200 miles through 14 states.     ... came to the rescue and quickly applied my Epi pen, and MSJ got me over to the hospital just to make sure things were okay once the Epi wore off.
