I was originally booked to fly out from LAX on a 1025am flight, but after speaking with the airline the night before around 10pm by phone, to get load information, they insisted I had absolutely no chance on the direct flight, and to try another one. Fab!
So I called another airline who I can also fly standby with, and they said I'd have no problem getting to Chicago if I left on a flight that departs at 0645, but it wasn't direct, it was via ...
... that they have at the back garden here at the B&B! She told me they have been feeding them for a while now and some of them actually come up to you and take peanuts right from your hand! We attempted to get them to come eat peanuts but only one or two came so I didn't get to see the gang of them. I wouldn't be surprised if there were "gangs" of squirrels that roamed Chicago. Twins fans were pretty polite and respectful, even to the ...

While finishing up service in Senegal I hope to remain abroad while working with international non-profits. I am not sure which region I would like to work in, or in which field, but serving the international community is a passion of mine that I hope to continue. I am sure that the Peace Corps, and my work in Senegal specifically, will give me the knowledge and skills needed to continue my work. I am willing to relocate wherever needed.
