... near the water. Figures, right?! Oh well. After lunch, we drove through some very rural parts of Florida to get over to I-95. I thought the small roads stunk, but traffic on I-95 was awful almost the entire way. Lots of major slow sections. What should have been a 10 hr drive is going to take more like 12-13 hrs. Set off about 8 am and headed south west towards Withlacoochee State Forest. No planned stops on the way and no real idea of which way to approach the forest but more by luck than judgement we found the campground. On the Silver Lake complex there are 3 campgrounds and I had been informed by email that Crooked River was the best for us in the tent as no RVs allowed. It turned out to be a loop of about 20 ...

Labadee! Beautiful, fun, breathtaking! Used our new snorkel gear at the private beach for suite guests That was awesome! When you enter, an attendant helps you find where you want to sit (sun or shade) brings chairs and beach mats to you as well Then we went exploring The dragons zip line looked fun, but doesn't last too long The beaches are gorgeous, but ...
