stayed for seven days hotel in quiet spot ,had a suite was abit dark in room.free breakfast was nice lots of places to eat nearby staff friendly.would stay again beach twenty minutes away

Great Place To Stay

What a fantastic place to stay at a price that was phenominal!!!!!

Just 8 minutes from the beach, surrounded by restaurants and shopping, and located in the heart of bradenton.

What a great hotel, nice clean great staff and really nice pool area.

Had a great time. The best bargin in bradenton hands down

Renovated Inn & Suites on the Park

I had read some bad reviews on this hotel but was told by someone that lived near there that it had been renovated so took a chance. It was beautiful, clean and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again. The sign does say Holiday Inn Express thought so that was confusing. A great deal for the money.

Hotel undergoing revamp

we stayed at this hotel in november this year amid a long awaited for revamp.the pool was out of action but we didnt mind the ocean was just down the road. the rooms had just been revamped with all new furniture,bedding and curtains,the only let down was the baths had not been changed. the hotel is going to change into the holiday inn express soon and has a new manager installed.the staff in the reception are we found very friendly as is the manager and the ladies in the breakfast room.the only let down in this hotel are the cleaners i hope that the new management take them to task because they are the ones that will let this hotel down.there has been a lot of money spent on this revamp the rooms are lovely and the pool area was looking great when we left.to those who have been before give this hotel another try you may be surprised at all the improvements.we certainly were .

Do not, do not stay here!!!

first of all, this is no longer a comfort inn, i think choice hotels finally got wise to the disgusting service and maintenance of this property. it's now called inn and suites on the park, what a joke! we have stayed here at least once per year for the past five years and standards have finally fallen to where i can't stay any more. on our most recent visit, the bed was remade with dirty sheets(that i had stripped off and left in the corner) not once, but two nights in a row!!! the manager couldn't be bothered to respond to any of my complaints, i am quite happy to pay a little more and stay a little farther away from my destination. do yourself a favor, look around and don't be seduced by their boasts, they are all false.

Overpriced and Poor Quality

Good location, but too expensive for an old motel that is not maintained with old worn furniture, dirty bathroom, missing light bulbs in the bath, no remote for the tv, and many other dissapointments. The reception desk staff are not friendly, and I overheard several complaints from other guests, including dirty sheets and other problems with housecleaning.

Expecting better in future

We stayed at the Comfort Inn for a week in January 2004. We were given a refrigerator and Microwave for an extra $10. a night. We found that it was lacking in certain areas, but felt that they were working on it and it would get better. The pool area was nice. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. We had been to several others and this breakfast was the worst. It was the quality of the food mostly. The room was large and comfortable for the most part. We liked it because it was the closest to the beach in the area.

Be ready to ask for a better room

Have stayed here often, about twice/yr for last 3 years, including when it was the Park Inn (management company has not changed). Each time I have first been given a room with major defects and had to request another choice. They also cater to groups that are often noisy (kids, sports teams, etc.). I've finally gone several miles out of the way, and to a higher price point, and stayed near the Sarasota airport. but it's better than this property.

Lost my rooms

In September, 2003 we asked the manager of this hotel for a block of rooms for January ,2004. We reserved 6 doubles and were told they would guarentee us 4 rooms that border the pool. We were told the day before we arrived that all 4 of the "pool" rooms were unavailable! Two weeks prior we spoke with the manager and were assured that everything was in order and she guarenteed us the rooms. Now we have no hotel to go to!
