We were in Iowa.
This was just a 2 night stopover in Omaha. We spent the day buying Christmas presents for Julie, her family, and her extended family who we would be spending our first White Christmas with. After travelling for 6 months without being able to but anything a little retail therapy was quite fun. Hours were spent finding just the right gifts for each person. Our friend of 25 years (Julie) picked us up and then in was a 3 hour drive to Loup City, ...

Sooooo now after we start our laundry, we see the sign for the dryers ... $.50 for 10 minutes. Yep...$.50 for 10 minutes. I don't know about you but I've NEVER dried ANYTHING in 10 minutes unless they were nighties or hanker-chiefs. We "guesstimated" about 20 minutes each ... So we insert the Laundry Card first ... fool me ...
Okay it's not the most creative entry title but it's true and I needed to make sure I could write this thing from my nook. So far all is working well. I'm going to do my best to remember to write on this thing while I'm gone but I also have a journal with me that will be much easier to wright in.

... camera next time. The inflatable kayak we bought worked great. Water is a crystal clear emerald green that you can see thru to the bottom. Rainbow trout are all over and they are fun to watch as you drift by them. Scott wants to go fishing in the kayak. The water is so cold that you can only stand to get your toes wet for few moments before they start to freeze.
