We flew overnight from Santiago to Miami, arriving at 5:00AM. After getting through customs, we had several hours to wait for our 11:30AM flight to Indy. Everything went smoothly and Bill had picked us up by 3:00. We're tired and slap happy, but thoroughly delighted with this trip. It's great to travel but always wonderful to come home. Limestone quarries outside town yielded stone for the Washington Monument and the Pentagon. The graveyard across the street also would be worth a visit, I was told by the manager at the motel. The farms and industry along the road reminded me of my own home town environs.

... back up. I spent the afternoon doing the expense report then went down to help pack up the conference display. We had dinner in the hotel pizza parlor and played arcade games, Matt beat me at air hockey 7-0 shameful..... then Matt went off to the Omaha Poker Tournament in the casino.

... which i dare not go to when Matt's not around because i think he would feel left out. we attended a buffet dinner and drinks where we met some very interesting guys who wanted to know all about Australia, after dinner we watched a presentation and they played a smaller version of deal or no deal four people got to have a go, they had drag queens holding the cases - too funny. all up the four girls won almost $2000 USD not bad!!

... back to our room for a Nap and then Matt had a meeting for the Conference here. Later in the night we went and had dinner in the restaurant here and then went down to the Casino, we joined as members for free slot play and matt won some money then we played some table games until about 11pm.

Well here we go. I am leaving for New Zealand in less than a week, and by looking around my room, I certainly have a lot left to do! I have always been a procrastinator and I am trying to break this mold by being totally prepared for international travel in less than a week! Wish me luck!
