... before heading back to the pool, just an hours walk was exhausting in this 104F heat Dinner was Mexican again and my first margarita - raspberry and was yum yum. Then early night and packing time. We have decided to leave Palm Springs early in the morning to head back to Venice Beach for a few hours before we catch our flight so that this journey completes a full circle. It's been a wonderful journey and a great testament to ...

It was so good we have decided to stay for another night, unheard of, but we are changing room so wait for tomorrow's themes! We headed into Palm Springs for dinner but in true style round these parts by 9pm the town slows down, so we headed back to the Motel opened some drinks & sat drinking & chatting in the very hot 85 degree ...

... Rosie's Dog Beach. The photos will speak for themselves, but picture several hundred dogs of every possible shape, colour and size, all off-leash at the ocean's edge. "Throw" in some frisbees, tennis balls and all of the owners and you've got the idea. We're convinced the "fetch" gene didn't reach our Jake. His pursuit of the orange ball is at best a lacklustre saunter in its general direction followed by a somewhat disdainful ...
