The end of our journey is in sight!! We stayed near Detroit on Tuesday night and crossed back into Canada at Sarnia and headed down to Point Pelee - Canada's most southern point before going to Shiela and Rob's last night. Although it is our country's most southerly point, the weather was cold and windy!! Today we are on our way to St Catharines for a quick visit with Grandma ...

Day one to CaySeesItAll! Woah, I've never had a blog before. I feel so official *hairflip*. I'm writing now from the Detroit Metro Airport. Dinner ended up being at The South Lyon Hotel about an hour north west ...

Fortunately they had a casual restaurant that met our needs quite well. We wandered back through the GM RenCen and found some ice cream and chocolate for dessert. We viewed Canada from across the river before retiring to our room. Time to rest up, tomorrow we drive across Michigan . Good ...

... I was a full day late already on this trip. But they did give me $18 credit for food, a bag with a thin large white shirt and a free night at a motel...oh ya so worth it.

So they sent us all to the same hotel/motel, and we all took our turns walking to the baggage claim and heading outdoors. We waited outside in the cold, at around 1am, for the little hotel shuttle and when it finally arrived the driver opened the door yelled ...
