- Teppanyaki Grill Buffet in Michigan, near airport (our favorite buffet ...
... plan so this let us keep yapping during the whole drive).
The last bit of the drive took us through the Tail of the Dragon, the most famous touring road in North America. It sure was a twisty drive! Unfortunately, Matt and Esen both got a little nauseous after a while so it eventually became a difficult drive. Took us over an hour to get through the Tail.

... the people in Kenya to get. For example clean water, or running water at all for that matter. All I have to do is go to any sink in my house and turn the faucet for clean water. I saw people lined up at a well with their water jugs on their head, probably walked at least a mile to get there, than fill up their jug and walk all the way back home. I mean come on. It is ridiculous how easy we have it in the U.S. ...
... and drive us to our first stop, a senior center. It was a great audience that met us there, filled with senior citizens and a few of their grandchildren who were visiting. While John performed, I sat off to the side and made a few sponsor phone calls. In the middle of his program, Kim showed up.

A word from Mant: My day started with a trip to New London with Brian to get velcro I promised for the kids' projects while I'm gone..and a few other things. We went to a yard sale and I bought a bag to use as a carry on for $3!! :D When we got back things were a blur trying to pack, make sure things were settled at Little Lakers, and all the fun things that have to happen before a big trip. Dad decided to do some unpacking from the recent apartment swap ...
