Auburn & Tuskegee - Deep in Dixie

Auburn is a rather quiet southern university town, home of
Alabama’s land grant university, now named after the town. Auburn is a quite
large school in terms of enrollment with some pleasant architecture around
several quads. The town, though, seems quite dull for one with such a large

direction from the crossroads at the northeast corner of university and is not
      what ...

Last full day in the U.S. Before I leave for Australia. There seems to be so much to remember and prepare for the long flight, so I'm starting now! Hopefully I don't forget anything! I know it's going to be such an amazing experience, but I can't express how much I'm going to miss my loving husband. Jeremy, I love you and can't wait to see you when I ...

I've been trying to reach Rev. Sheila Bates at Tuskegee's Wesley Foundations for months now to no avail. I didn't want to come all this way and not at least try to drop in on her though. The address to their location on their website led to an abandoned building. Needless to say, this attempt wasn't off to the best start.

I was trying to bypass the main campus chapel as I know the relationship between she and Rev. Gray isn't the best but, I had to go over ...

... and some new pipes. Their pipes were so leaky that they actually had to turn the water to the trailer when ever it was not in use via a nob outside, underneath the trailer. I felt really bad for them but I was glad to meet them and really admired the spirit they had. They were both very friendly "and welcoming. Andrew sure loved to talk about Auburn football and had a word or two about the Gators once he found out I ...
