... left the parking the garage the rain started up again. After getting stuck in traffic 3 different times we arrived at Shenandoah National Park around 5 pm. We spent the evening sleeping in the back of the Volvo in a normal campsite.

Hello All:
This is my first travel blog so I welcome comments - good and bad - to help me craft something that may be interesting to somebody. Don't expect frequent updates as I don't spend a lot of time in internet cafes, or at hotel computers, when I'm travelling as there is always so much to see and do, and too little time to do it all. When I do update, you can expect details of journeys, meals and hotels, as these are things that are (usually) enjoyable for me.

... to visit family in 5 minutes versus 2 hours. I will surely enjoy my time with the Harts and Cains whilst I'm a resident in Southwick again. I will be spoiled by home cooking, the lack of housing expenses, free laundry, sleeping in, and good conversation over a tasty meal and glass of wine. Not so much by the deflated air mattress Jesse and I share every night.

Last night at work... tears at the edge of my eyes all night. A gift from Maria... a hug from Andy, breakfast with my girls and a new shiny ring... going to miss the people who have begun to form me into the nurse i want to become... ive been blessed to see these amazing icu-ers in action and have them show me by example what compassion is, what knowledge is, and at 3am and Dr. Weinstock has to be called... what bravery is. ... they wanted to try swimming across the lake. Bill and Lisa manned the rescue canoe and followed the kids as they started swimming. After about an hour and a half, they swam back in ... Ellie made it in first. She said her swim coach could stop harassing her to train in the off season! All four achieved their goal of swimming to the other side and back. Michael figured that the lake was roughly 1/2 a mile in width at this point ... so it ...

After lunch in New Haven, we're off to visit the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA. Unfortunately, we got there at 4:00pm just as they were about to close. I just got some souvenirs and we had some ice cream before leaving for Chiqui's house in CT. Chiqui cooked the Alaskan King Crab legs for dinner, maybe the best crab I've ever tasted!

... was awesome! It took a few seconds for us to open the awning, throw a blanket on the ground and grab some chairs.

After lunch we headed our separate ways. When we got home, Sami had no problem backing the camper into our driveway! We removed everything, did what minor clean up was left and the camper was re-packed and ready for our next trip!

... we arrived at the park, the kids immediately took off to get in line for their favorite rides while we headed off to the water park to get ourselves situated for the day.

We spent a fun filled day, stopped at Nicky's for pizza on our way back to the campground and returned to Sodom Mountain for a campfire and s'mores.

... while we spent the day relaxing, settling in and making a list of everything we forgot to bring with us -- including the bbq. We were fortunate enough to be able to cook our dinner on the stove. Steph's steak took a bit more time on the stove top. But, we finally all ate and headed off to bed so we could get an early start to Six Flags New England in the morning.

... Sitting on my seat... looking out the window from this thingofaplane called a jet... operated by Air Canada... Saying bye to Boston for a while.. i reach my pocket to find THE KEYS TO MY CAR!!! $#$%##... and my travel begins... Toronto.. in 2 hours.... so close yet so different from Boston! Well i do have my Japanese four leaf clover for good luck... now..
