      ... br> Lunch: Goode’s Barbecue for Texas style barbecue (brisket). Yum-yum! Brisket, cole slaw, Texas toast with jalapeños, and beans. Jim had pinto beans with jalapeños while Barbara had Austin style baked beans (beans, pork belly, pieces of brisket, red bell peppers, onions and apples-what a surprise). Both were delicious.

      Next we thought we’d shop at the Galleria Mall. Big mistake! ...

      It was double date night - Krista's brother wanted to go to a French restaurant so he could get Foie Gras (which is illegal in california). So, it was off to a French restaurant. Not exactly what I wanted, especially since I was about to spend 2 weeks in France.
