    ... So much history and so many Bikes it is incredible that they are still here, Including serial Number 1. While it is a restored bike and has parts that are inaccurate, It has number 1 stamped on a few parts, hence the name, while it may no be the first, it is the oldest Harley in existence. the war bikes, the famous bikes, the custom bikes and the prototype bikes make this an awesome place to melt away a few hours.     ... plate info and Harley offered to restore or replace the bike. The owner declined as he was still overwhelmed emotionally, having lost his home and 3 family members in the tsunami but he requested that it be kept at the Harley Museum as a memorial to those lost during the 2011 tsunami.

    The second surprise was that they had somehow moved my bike indoors and put it on display while I was distracted ...

    This is the question that was floating through my mind all day Monday and part of Tuesday. I am famous for saying "I will never go to Africa". Yet here I am, with 30 other crazy Americans packing 62 suitcases + 31 personal carry-on items and making the final preparations to drive to Chicago in order to fly to Yaounde Cameroon via Istanbul.

    Each person had a personal checked bag and then a ministry bag that they were responsible ...

    So, we're waiting to check in our bags still. Apparently, their policy changed so we were each charged an extra $25. Then, half of the kids didn't get a boarding pass, so we're waiting around for ages. I'm so hungry!! And tired. I just wanna get on my plane so I can sleep. That, and get a nice bagel ...

    We continue east to the city of Milwaukee and a visit to the Milwaukee Art Museum (MAM) with a collection of over 30,000 works of art serving over 350,000 visitors a year. The MAM recently gained international recognition with the construction of the white concrete Quadracci Pavilion, designed by Santiago Calatrava (his first completed project in the United States), which opened on May 4, 2001. ...
