I finally did it!!! Took the Brewery tour.

... great. I really liked the history of the company. We were also very impressed with the companies efforts towards reducing their carbon footprint. They have the largest private solar panel installation in the state.

We got to taste all of the current offerings and learn about their specific qualities.

We rode 207 miles today, but I would have rode another 207 to finally get to Chico and my favorite brewery.

Aaron was the first to be called up for batting, and we all love and encourage him. He hits it first go and is off sprinting to first base. He makes it! We were on the road just after 9:00am. The traffic was busy through Stockton but uneventful and we made it to Durango in Red Bluff before 2:00pm. Durango is a pretty park nestled up against the Sacramento River with very nice facilities including pool and hot tub, games room, free coffee and more. The sites are nice: fully paved with paved patio and a grassy area between each site. There are three pools ...

Finally left Oregon and entered Northern California. Drove along the coast thru the Redwoods National Park. Entered a trailhead off the side of the road and admired the massive trees for about an hour. The boys also enjoyed climbing some standing and fallen trees. What amazed me about this area was the intense mist coming from the Pacific Ocean into the forest. Apparently some of the larger ...

... at a Casino. I pulled the senior card again and have the room for $96 per night including breakfast. We were only going to stay one night but we have now decided to stay until Tuesday so we can have a relaxing day tomorrow. We need the time to try and start to pack some bags without the hassle of San Francisco. I also need to contact Air NZ to make sure our flight is ok after the accident at San ...
